The Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship
The word of God, the Bible, is the central focus of all our services. It is from the Bible we learn of our great need to be saved from the penalty of our sin, and of God’s wondrous provision for our salvation through the death and resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Below is a typical congregation on a Sunday. If you live in the area and don’t attend Church, we would be very pleased to see you at any of our meetings.
The Mustard Seed Hall is situated in what was originally a small village called Woodside. In the late 1950’s and early 1960’s the formation of a New Town was conceived and Glenrothes started to take shape. Within the new population were many families coming from the west of Scotland where the coal industry was in terminal decline. They came to this attractive New Town where they could enjoy the benefits of a New Life.
God offers us a New Life in Jesus Christ, the Bible calls it Eternal Life, which even physical death cannot take from us.
His conditions for receiving its blessings are simple:
One, we acknowledge that, as sinners, we have fallen short of His righteousness.
Two, we accept that Jesus paid the price of our redemption by his death on the Cross on Calvary. He became our Substitute. God enters into a covenant with us when we take this step in faith, and it cannot be broken because it is sealed by the blood of Jesus.
The Bible verse at the top of this page puts this simply and clearly in the words of Jesus Himself.
