The Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship
This Sunday, 23rd September 2018, 11am & 6.30pm Mustard Seed Hall, Glenrothes, Steadfast Global.
We are pleased to welcome to both our Sunday meetings Malcolm McLeod of Steadfast Global.
Malcom will preach God’s word at our 11am service, and at our 6.30pm service Malcolm will give us an illustrated talk on the work he has been involced in recently around the world.
You are warmly invited to our services to hear what Steadfast Global is doing for the Lord in very difficult areas of the world.
Thank you for visiting our website. If you have any comments, or questions, please email us on our ‘contact’ page, or, come and visit us. We are not connected to any denomination, making us totally independent. It is the desire of our Church to reach out to the community here at Woodside, Glenrothes, in which God has placed us, with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The word of God, the Bible, is the central focus of all our services. It is from the Bible we learn of our great need to be saved from the penalty of our sin, and of God’s wondrous provision for our salvation through the death and resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our website will give you a good idea of who we are, and provide you with the information and contact details you require. If not, please contact us on the contact page.
We are blessed as a fellowship to have a wonderful group of young people and teachers in our Sunday School.
If you live locally, and would like to bring (or send) your children to our Sunday School, we would love to meet them and you.
Below is a typical congregation on a Sunday. If you live in the area and don’t attend Church, we would be very pleased to see you at any of our meetings.
The Mustard Seed Hall is situated in what was originally a small village called Woodside. In the late 1950’s and early 1960’s the formation of a New Town was conceived and Glenrothes started to take shape. Within the new population were many families coming from the west of Scotland where the coal industry was in terminal decline. They came to this attractive New Town where they could enjoy the benefits of a New Life.
God offers us a New Life in Jesus Christ, the Bible calls it Eternal Life, which even physical death cannot take from us.
His conditions for receiving its blessings are simple: One, we acknowledge that, as sinners, we have fallen short of His righteousness. Two, we accept that Jesus paid the price of our redemption by his death on the Cross on Calvary. He became our Substitute. God enters into a covenant with us when we take this step in faith, and it cannot be broken because it is sealed by the blood of Jesus. The Bible verse at the top of our Home Page puts this simply and clearly in the words of Jesus Himself.
